At Peel Island it is easy to think that you are in the middle of a wilderness...until the ferries go by. |

There was no question that the highlight of the cruise for Bernd was helming Masala, as we couldn’t get him off it for the whole eight days. No more so than on the 37 mile sail from Canaipa to Scarborough, where we romped along at 6 to 7 knots with every stitch flying – twin headsails on our cutter rig (genoa and staysail) and the mainsail. |
