Shirley got to try out Leanne’s pressure cooker, and was an instant convert. Shirley turned out a fabulous meal we have named “Odysseus Chicken”, after their trailer sailer. The secret was the spice blend brought back from South Africa. We understand there has since been a serious reshuffling of limited cupboard space on their small boat to fit in a nice shiny new acquisition.

The trip was a great success, and Bernd and Shirley now have the distinction of being the first people to cruise on board Masala with us. Rumour has it that since then they have been spending too much time on Yachthub, looking at keel yachts for sale. What is it about Masala that affects people so? Surely there must be something funny in the drinking water tanks?
