I had already figured out the need for a book to read, but not what to do about the cold weather (July) and no sight of any coffee or other warm drink.

The laundry is not a subject that gets a lot of attention from Landlubbers, for obvious reasons. I have noticed that in the boating community, potty and laundry conversation usually begins after glass three.

Now having participated in the laundress activity for the last 3.5 months with more to come, I have discovered that it is a great way to meet other girls, whom you might not otherwise have a chance to encounter—and that is the ONLY good thing about it.

It’s nice to be back in a land house for the convenience. However, I’m really sort of looking forward to the laundry run again, along with the joy of being on the water. Think we will invest in a collapsible trolley for the next sector.

Happy sailing you two. We will count on your Epistles to keep us in the spirit of cruising…

Cheers, Martha IKA NUI.

THAT’S IT, FOLKS!!!
