Leanne’s “Oh Dears” finally ceased as she spied the fresh, cool waterholes above the falls. Time for a refreshing dip. My first priority was to capture the stunning scenery. The water had carved the pink granite into flesh-like hollows, so that it seemed as if we were standing on the pock-marked body of a giant. The creek cascaded over the edge and disappeared. Behind, high peaks towered over the quiet upper reaches of the creek. We couldn’t believe that we had this entire landscape to ourselves. |

In front lay one of the truly great views this country has to offer. It was a humbling experience to witness such grandeur and to see Masala floating in Zoe Bay like a speck of insignificant blue dust. |
