On a clear day the colours are pure and unblemished. On a day with patchy cloud, an endless procession of purple-hued shade patches wend their way across the mountain faces. The shapes, patterns and colours combine with the murmur of the never-ceasing swell on the beach, to form a mesmerizing sound and light show of breathtaking proportion. |

For the whole of the next day we sat in the cockpit under our shade awnings & watched the show. We decided to stay another night despite the rolling, simply so we could witness a second stunning sunrise (below). |
